Power features that respect your privacy and hand you the controls. The toggles, swatches and tabs below are live — try them.
Stay invisible. Flip these and watch the preview above — that's the real behaviour inside the app.
Deleted and edited messages stay readable, locally. The full picture, always.
Cosmetic Premium — emoji, reactions, animated stickers — unlocked without the subscription.
Hide chats and blur names with one hotkey. Built for screenshares.
Custom fonts, themes, sticker packs and dozens of interface tweaks. Try the swatches — the whole site repaints:
Translate any message inline, in any chat — no bots, no copy-paste.
Granular control over what others can see. Read messages without sending receipts, type without showing indicators, and stay offline while you browse.
AyuGram is open source under GPLv3, and these protections aren't a marketing promise — every layer below ships in the current build. Confirm any of it yourself in AyuGram's Security settings.

Telegram voice and video calls are end-to-end encrypted by default — keys live only on the two devices, never the server. AyuGram inherits this in full.
Every byte to Telegram's servers is encrypted in transit with MTProto 2.0 — the same hardened transport the official client uses.
Lock the app behind a separate passcode with auto-lock on idle, so a glance at your screen never turns into a leak.
Your local message database and media cache, sealed with AES-256-GCM under a key derived from your passphrase. A seized device is just noise without it.
Encrypt notes and Saved Messages on your device before they ever upload — stored as ciphertext the server simply can't read.
Export everything as a single passphrase-sealed AES-256 archive. Portable, restorable, and unreadable to anyone but you.
Full-text search over an index that's itself encrypted at rest — instant results, with zero plaintext written to disk.
Unlock with a YubiKey, passkey or your OS secure enclave instead of a typed secret. Phishing-resistant by design.
A duress passphrase or hotkey that instantly wipes decryption keys from memory and locks everything — for the moments that matter most.
Strip EXIF, GPS and identifying metadata from photos and files on-device, before they ever leave your machine.
Straight talk: regular Telegram cloud chats are encrypted in transit (MTProto), not end-to-end — that's Telegram's design, identical on every client, ours included. AyuGram's job is everything on your side of that connection: encrypting what lives on your device, what you back up and what you save, and stripping the metadata surveillance actually reads. For end-to-end encrypted message content, Telegram's Secret Chats remain the standard — and we're upfront that no desktop client changes that.
Same Telegram you know. Way more in your hands.
* Both desktop clients are open source (GPLv3) — AyuGram is a fork of Telegram Desktop. Telegram's server is closed source on both.
Pick a vibe — including a full light mode. The whole site repaints instantly, the same control you get inside the app.

After downloading, run this in PowerShell and confirm the hash matches the one above:
Get-FileHash .\AyuGramSetup.zip -Algorithm SHA256Prefer official signed builds? Every release — with its own checksums — is on GitHub Releases . The page hash above is for the convenience ZIP hosted here and won't byte-match the GitHub asset.
AyuGram is a fork of the official open-source Telegram Desktop client and talks to Telegram over the same MTProto APIs. The full source is on GitHub, so you can read exactly what runs on your machine — or build it yourself. You can also verify your download against the SHA-256 above.
Ghost Mode and anti-recall act locally on your device, so your network behaviour matches a regular client, and there's no known pattern of bans tied to AyuGram. That said, it's a third-party client — any third-party client carries some ToS risk. If your account is critical, consider using a secondary one.
Yes — GPLv3, all 30 releases published on GitHub. For the ZIP hosted here, hash it with Get-FileHash and compare to the SHA-256 in the Download section. For official signed builds, grab them straight from GitHub Releases, each with its own checksums.
It unlocks cosmetic Premium — animated emoji, reactions, stickers, expanded folders. It does not grant server-side perks like 4 GB uploads, because those live on Telegram's servers, not the client.
Windows is supported today — download the portable ZIP above, or install via Winget or Scoop. macOS and Linux builds are coming soon; follow our Telegram channel for release news.
We don't. AyuGram is free, open source and community-driven — no ads, no upsells. Donations are optional and go toward infrastructure.
No ads, no trackers, no upsells — just an open-source project built by the people who use it. If AyuGram earns a spot on your desktop, a tip helps cover infrastructure and keeps development moving.
